Safe for what?? Safe to not get pregnant?? It is always safe to have sex, unless one of you has an STD. You can have sex at any time during the woman's cycle, and it wont harm anyone. The only thing is she would need to use a pad, for her own health after sex while she's on her period.

Actually, no. PMS (if you mean premenstrual syndrome) symptoms can begin up to two weeks before a period, or one week before a period. Therefore, seven days before pms symptoms start could be right at ovulation.

If you mean pms as the acual period, it is still not "safe" from pregnancy, because a simple miscalculation of days could be the difference between a positive or a negative on the test! Don't leave it to chance -- if you or your partner don't want to get pregnant, use protection. There are some excellent IUDs on the market now (Mirena being one of them) that allow for spontaneity, and no worries, while being small, easy to use, and side-effect free. Look into it. It's worth the peace of mind!

No, Ovulation doesn't always occur at that same cycle for many women or teenagers. I have learned that sometimes Mother Nature likes to play tricks on some people. Most likely you are safe but the only safe way is to use a condom, unless you want a baby. There is no safe period! PERIOD .

Is it safe for what? A girl can get pregnant at any point in time in the month, if that is your question.
