Asking him really is the best way to find out. Playing games or asking others if he likes you just wastes time you could be spending together. Best of luck.

Usually if a guy REALLY likes you, you can tell. If I'm wondering if a guy likes me, I know that either he doesn't, or it's not a strong crush, but a mild one. Although some guys are more subtle than others... I mostly pay attention to how often they start conversations with me, whether they follow me if I leave the room, how often they email me, etc...
