Here is my love life history:
4th grade - Dated a guy named Drew till the start of 5th grade.
5th grade - Dated a nice guy. We aren't really friends now.
6th grade - Dated Drew all year. Kissed him prolly over 50 times. Made out with him prolly about 15 times.
7th grade - Went out with this guy for most of the year.
8th grade - Dated nobody! I really concentrated on school and my tennis.
Now i'm starting high school. I kind of want to have a boyfriend. I'm the kind of girl that is smart and nice. I'm popular, but all my friends are also smart and nice.
I think i'm pretty. I do a bit of modeling. Uh... To paint a picture my friends think I look like Uma Thermon and Maria Sharapova (tennis player, my idol *lol*)
I told a guy that I like him, but he has a gf now. Since I can't have him, how can I let others know that I want to date?
Most ppl remember me for who I was last year. Single, pretty, smart girl.

you should make your appearance more noticeable. dress differently, wear your hair differently, maybe wear a little makeup now that ur in high school. dont be too flirty but you should definitely let the guys know that attention is what ur after. who knows? maybe you should wear a cute tennis skirt

Your starting high school so it's a brand new year and everyone has matured a little more and are looking also.Popular time for girls and guys. Let people know you have an interest in guys now not just school work and tennis. They all know you and relate you to the old things. There are probably some guys that would like to go out with you but don't know if you will except them for who they are so keep the faith and things will fall into place.

It could just be that you aren't getting the attention you used to get because you have now moved into HS and are a little fish in a big pond. Just don't force things and guys will begin to notice you again just like they did before; smile, make eye contact and they should get the hint. Striking up conversations with guys that you find attractive would also be a great way to meet potential dates. Just avoid the ones guarded by jealous gf's.
