No this is not true. When you eat a seed, it simply is digested through your system, like anything else. The saying that a watermeleon will grow in your belly if you eat a seed is an old wives tale.

No they don't, seeds are covered by a protective layer that will allow the seed to end its journey inside your body, 48 to 72 hours, sound and save and surrounded by enough nutritious matter, you know what sh..., to grow into a beautiful plant

YES, it is TRUE! Haven't you ever seen the women with big, round bellies walking around? Like Britney Spears is right now? It is a watermellon. Or last years' pumpkin seeds. Make sure you buy seedless watermellons from now on, or your mom will think you are pregnant.

No, your stomach's digestive enzymes are not a suitable environment for a plant to grow. The seed will be digested.

seeds need sun, and water, and soil.
unless your intestines are soil, and your stomach acid is water, then watermelons wont grow.
people used to just tell kids that because watermelon seeds arent very healthy to eat.

That is not true. your stomach acid would be much too strong to let a seed grow in your stomach. you would probably poop it out before it had time to grow too...
