Try a anti-chew spray product called "bitter apple."
Provide appropriate chew toy and biscuits.
Keep her away from the furniture until the habit breaks -- close the door, put her in her kennel, keep her on lead.

It is very important that you catch your dog the moment she is chewing on the furniture, then say NO! and take her out of the area, someplace she doesn't like much. If you don't catch her on the act, she won't have an idea she is doing something wrong..Also you can "paint" white iodine on the furniture and it will taste bad to her.
Make sure you keep chewing toys close to her, she has just aching gums and is trying to get some relief!

Get a very nice, dainty little chair with temptingly tasty (for a dog) Queen Anne legs. Slather said chair with electrolyte (conducting) gel, like the stuff they use to do EKGs. Hook the chair up to the same transformer thingy thing they use to electrify cow fences. ZAP! That'll teach Fido a lesson. Just don't forget and sit in the dang thing yourself. Ditto your Mom or girlfriend. Turn it off when they're around the house, or you will have to deal with the wrath of crispy acquaintances

I wouldn't suggest using a newspaper-that might scare the living-daylights out of em.
This is what we did when our dogs chewed on our furniture-
We filled a squirt bottle with water and white vinegar.
Whenever they scratched u just squirt them on the nose.
They will stink a bit but in a week they'll stop there destruction.

this might nicely be a dominance situation. Your castrated Cocker Spaniel isn't giving off male heady scent, and the entire male is attempting to declare his male dominance and he's getting away with it through fact your Cocker Sp. is submissive, and not seeing him off. this might nicely be a training situation. you may desire to up the exercising, is very through fact at decrease than a 365 days, he don't have the legs walked off him in simple terms yet. And whilst he starts off this, eliminate your Spaniel, tell your Black Lab No!! and supply him some thing else to concentration his interest on. although, as quickly as you like, e book him in to be castrated too. this would possibly not fullyyt end this behaviour, and to be truthful, I prefer to go away castration until a male is nearer to 18 months, yet subsequently, i think of it fairly is rather worth reserving him in for the op. yet communicate to your vet approximately what's happening - he might have some suggestion for you in case you prefer to attend somewhat in the previous castrating him (chemical castration could be an determination - and it fairly is not everlasting!).

sprinkle white pepper all over the furniture where she chews. either she'll develop a taste for it, or she'll quit the chewing. also get her something else to chew on with a similiar texture. if all else fails, get a shock collar. it won't hurt her, and if you are consistent with it for a week or two, you wont have to use it again - at least not for furniture chewing. good luck!

give lots of chew toys--hooves, pig ears, and sterilized cow bones with peanut butter on the inside. It will keep him busy. You can also try bitter apple.
