Hola Mustafa!

I live in Spain, in Madrid, and I have visited Puerto Rico, so I think I might be able to help you a bit.

To answer your question, there are really several factors to consider. First, what is your travel budget and where do you live in relation to both places? Secondly, what are you interested in doing or seeing?

If your interests are more on the cultural side, then Spain is probably your better bet. Madrid is an incredibly modern and beautiful city with a tremendous amount of options for tourists. The sightseeing is wonderful, there are many theaters, restaurants, museums and lots of places to walk to. It reminds me a lot of London or New York, on a slightly smaller scale (our population is about 4-5 million). While it is "expensive" here, it´s much cheaper than many big cities in the USA or Europe, and its certainly possible to find a pretty decent, 4 star hotel with a good location in the center of Madrid for about 150 Eur per night. Furthermore, the public transportation is excellent, clean and cheap (a ticket on the metro is 1 Eur). You can have a VERY nice meal for about 7-10 eur in any cafeteria, and the museums are free on sundays. All in all, if you plan it right, it´s not out of reach.

Puerto Rico, on the other hand, is a totally different experience. It has beautiful beaches, great resort hotels, lots of casinos, but it is very much a caribbean island, meaning that the tourist things to do revolve mostly around beaches, swimming, diving, fishing, gambling, etc. and not so much around cultural events. Viejo San Juan, which is the old part of the city, is very beautiful and shows off the Spanish history of the city very nicely.

As far as crime goes, I´m not sure if I understand you correctly but you said "in spain robbery is very much", and that´s not exactly the case, if you mean that the crime rate here is high. Madrid is mostly a very safe city (as long as you avoid the obviously bad areas) and you shouldn´t have any real problems as long as you´re reasonably careful. I think that´s good advice for anywhere, quite frankly.

All the best of luck and I hope you enjoy your travels.

It depends on what you want. You can't really compare. I am from Puerto Rico and have visited Spain and I have to say that they are both very different from each other. If you want to relax, go to the beach and pamper yourself, then come to Puerto Rico. However, if you want to learn some ancient culture, see some art and go to palaces, then go to Spain. Both are very beautiful. I'd say yoyu should go to both places if you have the money...Have a nice trip.

Given the options, you would be crazy if you did not
travel to Spain
Once you visit, you will never want to leave
Trust me, there is no reason to visit Puerto Rico

I was in Spain for a week - had absolutely no problem. It's a beautiful country.

I would go back in a heart beat....

You got it completely backwards. Puerto Rico is a turd pit, riddled with crime. Spain is a very nice country. I don't think you deserve to visit either.

I have been to both countries and they are both as beautiful in their unique ways. I recommend for you to visit both countries, if possible.
