From your "shared" folder on your hard drive, "cut" and "paste" them in your folder that contains the rest of your music files for Itunes. From there, click on "File" and "Add file to library". From there a pop up window should appear. Select the songs you brought from your "shared" folder, then click "open". The files should automatically convert in Itunes. From there you should be good. When you plug in you ipod it should update on its own.

Click on the song you downloaded and a button underneath should light up that says 'Explore'. If you double click that button, a window will pop up that says 'Shared' and all your downloaded music should be there. Just double click on a song and it should show up in iTunes.

Good luck!
