You say sorry way too much. Apologies are precious - use them when you really need to make amends. Scatter them about like corn and they lose value. If someone takes offence at "have a good day", it's their problem, not yours.

You've never posted anything that has offended me, and I can't see how people could be offended by your posts. You have always been kind to everyone, and there seems to be a gentleness and peace about you that is actually rather pleasant. Maybe that is what people are finding offensive, but I wouldn't let that change who you are.
Maus, if you've never read Debra's posts, how can you claim that she is attempting to convert people? I'm also an atheist, and I have never felt that she is trying to convert anyone. Maybe you question your own beliefs, and that is why you feel threatened.
Julia, I'm here for the fun, too, but there's a limit. You've crossed the line on more than one occasion.

You switched from Baptist to Catholic. Any idea how many people find that offensive?
Debra, there is no peace amongst bigots. They are far too gone into their hatred and denial to welcome peace, love, or any good quality that sustains life and spirit.
It is a pity we do not have a forum that welcomes us, but I'm thinking of looking around to start one. There used to be forums one could start up for whatever topic interests us.
You'll recall the Essenes moved away from their society, to live apart from others who would only persecute them. It may be necessary to emulate them. I'm just about ready to start a war with these idiots, and I'm sure you can appreciate how distasteful such an idea is for me.
Y!A appeals to popular prejudices, not thoughtful people seeking thoughtful discussion, or so it seems to me since earlier today. I realize we need to be where we're needed most, but we're not here when they censor us, and there are far too many willing to crucify us to maintain their grip over the fear of others.
Not that Y!A cares. The impersonal corporate machine feeds on hits, not the value of thoughts expressed.
I ache for your pain. Perhaps it would be better to use Y!A to find those who are closer to the truth and draw them away from this place, into a sanctuary where loving people can express their love freely.
Peace and love to you, Debra.

Being a Christian is offensive to some individuals on this site. I certainly don't want you to change that. You are full of love and compassion (or at least you give that impression). I like what I have seen today from your questions and comments. Keep up the good work!

***I am curious: what have a posted or asked that has offended anyone here today? ***
Nothing and everything,
stop apologizing, in the theater of ideas nothing is sacred. Who cares if others take offense.
That is what some folks are good at, let them have their glory also. We will never be able to satisfy everyone, it is better to be faithful to yourself.
Have a blessed day.

Why don't you just stop posting?
I haven't read your posts, but I think you're trying to convince people into converting to Christianity, (and that includes talking about Christianity.) Well that's no good. If you're a christian, okay, nobody got nothing against you. If you're happy being a christian, then keep being a christian. I'm happy being an atheist, and I don't tell other people to convert to atheism; it's up to them what they're gonna believe in. And I respect what they believe in. But some sore losers keep jumping down people's throats, and that's what I don't like.

Faith is tricky. A mischosen word or an unclear statement can send some people into an apoplectic fit
