According to the major religions Satan tempted Adam and that's why we are on Earth. Why would god allow Satan to influence us, and then also send prophets to guide us, what's the point?! does it make sense?!

I imagine a lot of people will have the free will argument, but if he created us, why does he need us to love him?

I'm also interested to hear from those people who don't believe in religion, what do you believe in?

God and Satan aren't gambling with our souls. It's your mind playing tricks on u. God is not allowing Satan to tempt us, it's we who give in to satan. We are born with free will. U may or may not choose to let satan tempt u. But Eve became weak that's y she allowed satan to tempt her. She was so ambitious and impatient. She wanted to be as powerful as God. She and Adam could have had the same power if they only waited patiently and have been strong enough to refuse to be tempted.

According to my Bible, Satan tempted EVE. We are on Earth because that's what God had in mind to begin with. The dispute between Satan and Almighty God is a matter of sovereignty and who should be guiding mankind. The prophets were sent to allow those who would listen the opportunity to go the other direction and follow God's direction. Unfortunately many have decided to go to the wide and spacious way instead of the straight and narrow.

God does not gamble, he takes no chances. Satan was given free will and his choices quite simply are a ones we are not to follow. Thus is life, trials and tribulations. God does not tempt the devil does. God wants us to be victorious, victory in Jesus my friend, tried, tested, victorious this is what it means to be free. God has high position for us up in heaven, take it as a test of strength, we are being made pure, good in him.

This is one of most important puzzles of Christianity I dont really have an answer . Ive never liked being in this game of tug of war between good and evil . Mostly Ive given up worrying about it .If God really wants to sent me to eternal torment because I doubt other peoples interpetation of the bible then he's not a very nice God. Maybe I should become a Buddhist . He's a lot nicer god.

Heh, it's a bet. Everyone has this idea that God is this pure etheral being that has no basis in this universe except to spread "truth". What does he really care if he can do anything as teachers try to impose?

No no, I say God is really one of the Ancient Greecian gods that decided to hide the Nordic Ragnok, Fenris Wolf Attck by getting the people to acknowledge nothing existed outside of him. Heh, he's really a womanizing Baccus-like drunk who gambles all the time. and since souls are the currency of the godworld, this is his way of making sure he still remains the king....kinda' like Marie Antoinette.

This is a tale for children.
God and Satan are two aspects of reality. You cannot get away from either. Your soul is your soul. The immortal part comes back again and again in an unrelenting cycle of life and death, of creation and destruction.
Good and Evil are inextricably entwined like two snakes on a pole. We must embrace them both in life, and fulfil our destinies. There is no escape.

We were on earth when Satan tempted Adam and Eve. Neither Satan or God gamble with our souls. If you haven't accepted Jesus as your savior you're gambling with your own soul.

The only one gambling with our souls is ourselves people get so caught up in debates and contradiction God's original plan was perfect and pure, the bible says that he created all beings including satan, satan decided to do the wrong thing and became full of pride, he was the most beautiful angel ever created. This is what the bible says about Satan, when he was expelled from heaven (it's interesting)

Book of Ezequiel ch 28:v 12
12 "You were the perfection of wisdom and beauty. 13You were in Eden, the garden of God. Your clothing was adorned with every precious stone: red carnelian, chrysolite, white moonstone, beryl, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald--all beautifully crafted for you and set in the finest gold. They were given to you on the day you were created.
14. ordained and anointed you as the mighty angelic guardian.[b] You had access to the holy mountain of God and walked among the stones of fire.

15"You were blameless in all you did from the day you were created until the day evil was found in you.(pride, rebelliousness) 16-Your great wealth filled you with violence, and you sinned. So I banished you from the mountain of God. I expelled you, O mighty guardian, from your place among the stones of fire.
17-Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings. 18.You defiled your sanctuaries with your many sins and your dishonest trade. So I brought fire from within you, and it consumed you. I let it burn you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. 19.All who knew you are appalled (other angels) at your fate. You have come to a terrible end, and you will be no more."

It is clear that all beings were created with an individul mind and the power and freedom of choice, the devil chose to disobey and sin against God as well as to rebell, so he got what he got and the devil is the real enemy of our souls, not God, God created men and women with the same freewill, and though this could take way to long to go into to answer your question, I have to say it in a nutshell. Satan tempted Eve, because he wanted to continue going against God, and God can do anything at any given moment if he was to choose to.

God created men to show satan that men can love God by their own choice and ultimately the devil will be consumed, destroyed, (he will be no more) it was established since the foundation of the world.(It is all in the bible, the bible has many and all the aswers) God does not contradict himself. This whole entire world belongs to Him, He created it.

Have you ever wondered, when a loved one dies, and it hurts so very much, where do they go and why are they gone and then begin to ask yourself a lot of endless questions and refuse to believe this person has passed on? Well, it is because we are so unprepared for that because we don't seek God, it is very real and he is the author of every single being's life whether the person chooses to believe it or not, (all spirits go back to him, to a place of rest, until the day of judgment) we will never get away from the fact that God is real and alive, and Satan is real, but he is been defeated, through Jesus, God has always loved his creation and his children, the faithfull and the unfaithfull ones, the ones who choose to love and accept the truth, and accept him as a Father and Savior. He allows satan certain things, because he is giving him time, time for many things to take place (the scripture and prophecies must be fulfilled, you know about prophets) and then Satan is the prince of the air, he has many hordes working against people in general good and bad (his ultimate goal is to kill and destroy, all that he can) and is the cause of suffering and dissaster, and sorrow, he is the destroyer and author of all evil.
The point is God knows what he is doing and why, it is obvious that there are several mysteries behind this and though we may not know it now, God has promissed in the bible, his word, that he will tell us that when this whole thing ends and we go back to him, in other words, once we meet him in heaven, many mysteries and answers will be revealed and answered, in the mean time we are to do what he told us out of love, never out of obligation. So we will continue to choose till the very end, and the choice is entirely ours and we will be separated from what is to come, and the wrath of God, after he's given all a fair chance to come to our senses and choose right.
