I had an accident recently..
my car was parked in the street just in front of the house, an unknown car came and hit the rear(back) of my car and got written off by the insurence company. i had a full cover insurance and they payed me back the coast of the car..
but the real thing is there is no details of the car or driver involved in the accident, and the police still investigating to get the details..
for the insurance company this is an open claim and fault is mine
i had 4 years no claim discount, does this affect my no claim discount bonus.?

That doesn't make any sense. It can be an open claim, and not be your fault. It is not your fault in any way if the car was parked, regardless of whether you can find the responsible person. So you should not be surcharged just because of this accident. If there is some other history you have that might make a difference. Of course, this varies by insurance carriers, but for the most part in general this is a non-fault loss.

'No Claim' or 'Claim-Free' Discounts are just that - discounts based on your having no claims at all. It doesn't matter if it's an at-fault or not-at-fault loss, the facts are really irrelevant.

Having ANY claim - big or small, theft, collision, flood, whatever - will take away a 'no claim' discount.

.......Yes, as the insurance company has not claimed from a third party, you will lose some of your mo claims bonus. Sounds like it was a drunk driver doing a hit and run.

Its a no CLAIMS discount, not a no blame discount. If you calim on your policy and there is no traceable third party then you loose your NCB
