Well that all depends... First you need to have a regular bedtime and a regular bedtime routine.... Wah the dishes, watch 1 hour of tv, take a bath and crawl into bed.... If you can't fall asleep in 30 minutes get up leave the bedroom.. Go read a book, take a warm bath (if you didn't earlier) listen to soft music.... Then try to go to bed again.... Keep the schedule the same every night and have patience.... Journaling helps also, gets the thoughts that are racing through your head out so you and put them aside to sleep.... If trying this for a week or so doesn't improve things I would go to the Dr and check to make sure there is nothing going on otherwise....

If the problem becomes more than a few times a week, see your general physican. I've been having sleeping problems for the last 6 months. I went to see my physican and she did trial and error to find out what my problem was. I am currently taking some sleeping medication and reducing my caffinee. See your Doc is your best bet.

I have the same problem. Mine is due to my age. I use camomile tea. This helps. You can find many sleep aids that are all natural, and try to relax your self with a bath and aroma candles with the lights out. This helps as well. I hope this helps you some...

Well, I would personally, try to eat some dairy products, because they can help you fall asleep faster. Also, avoid eating like RIGHT before you go to sleep. Also, avoid bright lights right before bed, and try some relaxing music while your in bed. Also, try to meditate, and just let all of your stress out, and relax. Hope it works for you!

You could have too much on your mind before you go to bed. Or, like me, it might just be that you take a while to fall asleep. Is this a recent thing, or have you always been this way?
