When God created us, He knew we would be sinners. That is why He sent Jesus Christ to us, that we may know Him and love Him and His plans for us. When Adam and Eve accepted the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God gave us the free will to make our own decisions and think for our ourselves. He is teaching us the definition of love and faithfulness. We have a deeper love for Him, knowing that we are imperfect beings and He is awesomely perfect in every way. Don't forget that Jesus Christ died for your sins, that we may live eternally with God. (Now that's true love!) When you ask to be forgiven, you are making sure that Christ's sacrifice was not made in vain.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

Sin is ultimately what seperates us from God. We chose sin and self over obedience everyday. Because God is love and we are his children, he made a way for our sins to be forgiven. It is a free gift through Jesus Christ.

The easiest way I know to explain this is the love one has for their own child. The child may be disobedient and not listen, and there may be discipline, but truly - there is no change in the love. When the child apologizes, we accept (or should), forget and work on the bond that makes us love.

Praise God - He is love!

God made the rules that were the best for us.
He knows we cannot keep the Law, that is why He had to send His son.
Sins before salvation, are forgiven, wiped clean.......... afterwards we know better and when we sin then, we still need to ask forgiveness but I think the consequences are worse.

I do not understand how He can be so long-suffering with us, but He is and Thank God He is.......

He knows that we are all sinners. We were born to sin. We are not perfect. He wants our lives to be full of love and happiness and in order to live like that you must constantly ask him to forgive your sins. Asking God to forgive your sins will not only cleanse your soul but lead you on the right path of life.

We sin because we have mortal flesh that desires things of the flesh (lust, depravity, greed, envy, covetousness, self-gratification). We are born into sin because of the original sin of Adam and Eve. God doesn't desire us to be separated from himself because of our sin, so He sent Jesus, His Son, to redeem us. God has a humble heart, and we are called to be like Him, so we must also have humble hearts, admit our wrongdoings, ask for mercy, and accept that we cannot do it on our own. God doesn't hold past sins over us; he chooses to remember them no more. So far as the East is from the West, shall I remove your sins from you, he says.

I think He loves us even though we sin. Read in the bible about why we do, but can't remember what book or verse it is in. I do know that is it why he gave us His son to die for our sins. Seems like we should get the message from that. I try to do good but as you probably already know it ain't ease.

God does not want us to sin, but it is not only just sin than repent, sin then repen, sin then repent. He wants us to come to a point where we do realize where we are sinners and even though he knows we will sin and he wants us to repent not because we have to but because we would want to.

Uh because just because God doesn't WANT us to sin, doesn't mean we don't We have free will and are not perfect. And if someone did something to hurt you, you would want an apology.

God and his angels do not torture every physique. this is the folk and angels that have rejected God that torture. God is a loving God, yet once you reject him via your life than you have separated your self from him, and your purely companions are going to be your torturers. There could be no goodness in hell using fact this is a place with out God - it is precisely what human beings sought.
