The best way to build up running tolerence is pretty straightforward: just run! From some experience, running with a friend definitely helps, as well as adding variety to where you run. Try a new route every so often, and learn to not think about running while you are. Running will come much more easily that way. Remember, running can be fun :) hope this helps!
