my ipod doesnt work help plz ?

when i connect my ipod doesnt show in the itunes screen , only i can charge it, and my computer show the icon of my ipod in the deskpot anybody can help me .

if u stil have the recipt get a refund or turn it in for new 1 there are places that fix them 2

This may sound a little silly, but download the latest iPod updater from Apple, connect your iPod and run it. (Make sure iTunes is closed). Run it, follow the on-screen prompts, then disconnect it when it is finished and let your iPod reboot. Then plug it back in, iTunes should now see it.

Worked for me.
