We liberated Iraq from a dictator that lived supremely wealthy, while the common people starved, recieving no benefits as a community from the oil money!
For them to act so ungrateful and to call us occupiers!
We shed our blood and use our tax dollars and grieve as a Nation at war and they = muslims (see the best answer chosen on this post, below by clicking it) say we are not doing enough for them over there...

The current war on terror is just another Holy War.

Lots of Americans still believe that Iraq was involved in 9/11 although Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11 and the media rhetoric to justify the invasion in the first place was nothing more than a politically orchestrated litany of lies. That's religion for you.

President George W Bush has made it clear that he reads the Bible, prays to God, and that God told him to invade Iraq. Very recently he referred to the USA’s war against terror as a war against Islamic Fascists. The other side, the Islamic Fascists, of course refer to G W Bush and the USA as Christian Infidel Dogs and so the Holy War of Words goes on, like the Axis of Good (Christianity) at war against the Axis of Evil (Islam).

The above is quite mild to all the evil religious words being thrown by each side, but of course, it doesn’t stop there does it. The same sides, Christianity and Islam, are physically at war with each other, murdering innocent men, women and children in the process.

Humanity has a horrific track record of atrocities and killing caused by religion, and this war seems to be no different, just another Holy War in the name of religion, inflicting it’s madness once again onto humanity. Religion is so evil, it has even infected the President of the United States of America.

Ok just something i'd like to point out, the Americans werent just involved in the war you happened to drag my country and several others into your illegal war too.

So ungrateful? What exactly is it that you want them to do? Lay down hundreds of years of religious conflict because you showed up and liberated them? I can hardly say the country is much better - its on the brink of a civil war for heavens sake! A Nation At War? well its not like you're entirely innocent in the matter - as the only superpower left in the world and spends more on its army than the GDP of most third world countries, it can be argued that you provoke these wars. Particularly when it comes to imaginary weapons of mass destruction.

Basically the point i'm trying to make is that before you start saying people are ungrateful, just actually look at what is happening there now instead of watching the media who will tell you that the people are "liberated". And just to point out - democracy doesnt work in situations like this, its a false system of government.

ETA: having read all the additionals you've put on, if you're such wonderful liberators - why do the occupied Iraqi townspeople despise you? I'll give you one clue, probably its you forcing their way of life on them. Continually forcing Muslim countries to become democracies is not the way to make friends in the big bad world. Just remember the majority of us have seen more than 200 years of independance and history so we're firm about our ways.

Yes, some people are ungrateful but, why are we after them when we should be in Afghanistan? Isn't Osama Bin Laden over there? He was the mastermind of all the killings over there (and more now with people suffering lung disease because of 9/11).
We should let those people be; why make them change their religion to Christianity? We would not want them trying to turn the majority of our country into Islam, do we? No wonder why a lot of countries hate or detest the United States.

Excuse me - but I didn't hear the Iraqis pleading for the States to stick their noses into their business. Your first sentence describes Bush to a T. He is a dictator, living supremely wealthy, and how many people are below the poverty level in the States? And he is the one killing off the occupiers as well as innocent civilians - many more than Saddam Hussein did as his war was with the Kurds. When the head of state refuses to withdraw his troops - they are occupiers. They are not wanted there.

... iraqis didn't ask for our help, we went under the pretense of searching for wma's that were not there. then we decided to overthrow the dictatorial government and force democracy upon them... yes, people are going to fight tooth and nail for what they believe in, to maintain their culture and way of life. iraq had its problems before the US invaded the country and it will definitely have problems when US troops withdraw. you should look up the history of how and why the US invaded the country rather than blame iraqis for not being grateful. we have essentially destroyed their way of life, and civilians are being killed by the hundreds days and weeks at a time and they are ungrateful?! i doubt you would have the same reaction if the tables were turned!
