The current war on terror is just another Holy War.

Lots of Americans still believe that Iraq was involved in 9/11 although Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11 and the media rhetoric to justify the invasion in the first place was nothing more than a politically orchestrated litany of lies. That's religion for you.

President George W Bush has made it clear that he reads the Bible, prays to God, and that God told him to invade Iraq. Very recently he referred to the USA’s war against terror as a war against Islamic Fascists. The other side, the Islamic Fascists, of course refer to G W Bush and the USA as Christian Infidel Dogs and so the Holy War of Words goes on, like the Axis of Good (Christianity) at war against the Axis of Evil (Islam).

The above is quite mild to all the evil religious words being thrown by each side, but of course, it doesn’t stop there does it. The same sides, Christianity and Islam, are physically at war with each other, murdering innocent men, women and children in the process.

Humanity has a horrific track record of atrocities and killing caused by religion, and this war seems to be no different, just another Holy War in the name of religion, inflicting it’s madness once again onto humanity. Religion is so evil, it has even infected the President of the United States of America.

It is supposed to happen, Jesus said that there would be wars and rumors of wars in the end times (Matthew 24:6) and the war with Iraq is not the only war. But I think we should be over there because if we wouldn't have then other countries would think that it is alright to attack USA because they new that we were "to peaceful" to do anything back. We are doing exactly what we are supposed to be doing.

Absolutely right. Al-Qaeada had operations in Iraq, and was supported by Saddam Hussein, a man who also tortured his own people. The quality of life for those people has vastly improved. In hind-sight Iran might have been the better choice to invade, but that information was not known at the time. Iraq still has some issues to work out, but things are getting better. Eventually they will take control of their own country and the U.S. will pull out.

What war with Iraq? That war ended a couple of years ago. Right now we are helping the rightful elected government of a sovereign country establish democracy. We are also defending them against terrorists who are out to destabilize the Middle East.

I'm just here to offer a sincere source of information to a group of people who might be interested in the global opinion of the US. This is a really great book, parts come from a very sociological perspective. For anyone who's ever wondered why anyone would hate america, this book sets out to investigate. The book is appropriately titled, "Why Do People Hate America" it is relatively inexpensive costing less than 10$ USD at amazon.com

I think if we opened Taco Bells in Iraq the war would end.

I'd like to teach the world to eat Tacos in perfect harmony.

Shouldn't this question be in the politics section? I do think the war in Iraq is not justified. Morally it is wrong to go to war over anything. In this case the evidence for war is lacking.

The question I haved asked myself, with regard to Iraq, is this: is the world a better place without Saddam Hussein in power? I think the answer to that is yes. That being said, I think Iraq is an incredible mess and I don't see a way out of it. May God have mercy on them, and on us as well.

Absolutely 100% right, althought we're at war in Iraq, not with Iraq. Our president is laying foundations of peace for that region and our world. Huu-aaaahhh.
