Sorry meant totally out of "any" seat/booster. In NY.

You'll have to look up your State laws for that one. In some states they have to stay in there until they're 5 or weigh so many pounds (they would be in a booster seat by then though, not a car seat).

In indiana you i think you have to be 80# and 4ft9 to get out of a car seat/booster seat.

I think its till they weigh 60 lbs. Might be good to check your state specific laws though.
