What are the Enlistment Bonuses for the Army? And when do you get the bonus, in a large amount or do they add it on to your check every 2 weeks or what?

The bonus that you get depends on the MOS (job) that you choose. Try going into the medical field, they seem to have the highest bonuses now days. You get the first part of your bonus after you complete basic training and the other have you get after AIT (job school)

You get your bonus something like 50% after one year, 25% after 2 years and the last 25% after your 3rd year.

Its something like that. The Army has the best bonuses for sure but you need to remember WHY you are getting that bonus. It is because most people dont want that job. If you can get a bonus for the job you want then thats great, but you will be better off in the long run if you get the job you enjoy the most.

The bonuses do depend on the job you choose; however you must complete Basic as well as your AIT (Advanced Individual Training) before you are paid. Once you've completed that school you will receive the money 60 days later.....one lump sum. Currently the Military Intelligence field pays the highest bonuses: $60,000.

When I was in during the 60's, it was a lump sum, minus withholdings.
