Nothing makes you get taller,sorry. Running burns more fat then swimming. Take a look at a swimmers body and a runners body. Swimmers tend to have more body fat to keep warm.

They both burn a lot of fat, but swimming is a lot easier on your joints. Neither will make you taller, but if you are concerned about height, maybe you want to avoid exercise that causes a lot of impact on the legs and spine, such as running/jogging, because it -could- (not likely, but possible) compress your spine and make you a little shorter.

Its best u do some arobics like weight lifting, side stretches,
situps, jumpin on trampoline,
Only way u will get taller is through time.

Swimming because when your running your working only on your legs and thighs but when your swimming your working on your legs and thighs plus your arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
