Trinity Broadcasting Network, has $341,000,000.00 in cash and investments on hand. According to:
http://www.ministrywatch.com/ .
This nonpartisan ministry watchdog group has placed a warning about donating to this haven for multimillionire televangelists. TBN have begged so much that Jan Crouch, in a widely distrubuted, and very disturbing internet video, asked for GRANDMOTHERS TO SEND TBN THEIR GROCERY MONEY. It's on YouTube.com
With $341,000,000.00 cash and investments...will you be giving to TBN during their next beg-a-thon?
PS-I give money to my local church, and to those in need. I don't believe in subsidizing multimillionaire televangelists that have 341 million dollars in the bank.

for the record, I've posted this question twice. That REV answerer can't be much of a preacher....he's always on Yahoo Answers, defending multimillionaire preachers!

I live within 5 minutes of this abomination! This is truely one of the most evil groups parading as Christians I have witnessed. They lie, they buy. This sing, they fling. I suspect that Mabaline contributes heavily (in makeup). They have a 250+ foot yacht in Long Beach Harbor that must be anchored out...they have a 110 foot yacht as its tender!!! They own so f*cking much property in Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar (highest property values in the OC, it make you want to puke....I have strong suspicions that the only people who can take advantage of all this money are the lawyers that defend and persecute all those who go against them here in Costa Mesa, and the f*cked up bunch running this debacle. The main minister is Bi, yet the sing ANTI gay crap. This bunch is EVIL, and perhaps the ANTI Christ the Christians all rant about. Very possible. They are suing and trying to take over a PBS Station here in Costa Mesa to further their funds stealing. I do not understand how the FEDS let them get by without paying taxes.!!!!

At first I was starting to agree with you and now I think you just want to slam any program what so ever that promotes the walk with Christ. You only look at the money. That’s just wrong. Next thing we know you will slam klove or daystar or any other religious based organization just to be a mean person. You must want money and don’t have it to slam everyone with money that do some good. They may not do all good, but they get the word out about Christ still. Allot of that money goes to many programs to help others put money in church help groups and making movies to spread god’s word. It goes to helping kids all over the world
I looked at their site and as far as I’m concerned your ministry watch is no different than what they nag about they want your money too. Plus that site doesn't say a proper breakdown of where it goes so they’re not accurate either. And if a organization doesn't give how much they have in each section of their programs its because they don’t want tons of people begging for hand outs. For instance if you give 100. It just says you gave, but what you don’t know is if it got broken down to 25.00 for this and 25.00 for that and the rest to this part. That site doesn't do that.
Also its great where you send your money, but people who cant get to a church by health or transportation or even just because they don’t want to be pulled into the church butting into their business. If they want to send to keep their favorite program going. Let the, its no different than PBS or OETA. i love those stations so i will give to keep it on the air and feel like i am a part of them. my kids love those stations.

WE are fast approching the time when another Bible prophesy
will be fulfilled, what is that you say?I read some of the answers
that you recieved, and a common thread to most is disgust and
loathing for (Babylon the harlot)the world empire of false religion.
alot of people are sick of the way these people drain there
followers, but also because of there tax exempt status, the gov.is
getting ready to lower the boom on them also.at Rev.17:1-5.it
tells as "the great harlot"has commited fonication with the kings
[political rulers] of the earth.rev.18:4-get out of her my people,if
you do not want to share with her in her sins....rev.18:7 adds
that "she glorified herself and lived in shameless luxury.soon
now (the kings) of the earth will turn on her and completly destroy her.

oh, it's disgusting, isn't it?
i actually stopped watching tbn about the time when the gay scandal with paul crouch came about and haven't allowed myself to watch it since.
to be honest, i'm ashamed i watched it as long as i did.
i liked how you put it "beg-a-thon". i get some a physical reaction when i see them all whored together to beg ppl for money, when pawning one of those hideous chairs in the background might subsidize a small village for a year.
don't even get me started. it just makes me sick.

I will not send my money to TBN! God never told us to give to these television ministries only to bring our tithes and offerings to the house of God on the first day of the week!

I don't give a penny to money hungry groups like TBN. they deny their own faith by stealing from the poor, the helpless and the widow. As a Christian, I call all into account who carry the title Christian who fleece the flock for their own personal gain. Thanks for bringing this up.

Nothing, as usual. Their lavishly designed headquarters is about a mile away from where I live; whenever I drive down that street (especially at night, they have it light up with about a million little lights)...I always say "your TV dollars at work!"
