Why when i stand up my stomach/belly is really round as though it were a pumpkin or pregnant. Yet when i sit down i have flesh folds on my sides, back & upper belly?? This makes no sense to me. Keep in mind i am rather plump @ 217ish lbs. & a 46in. waist. & i'm a 17 yr. old male. so does anybody know why the belly does this?? is this from excess body fat? is this unhealthy?

Of course it's from fat and yes being 217 lbs. and only 17 is unhealthy unless you're a 6'2" football player.

Yes, Bubba, it is FAT. Get busy lifting weights, stop eating junk food. Eat meat, vegetables, fruit, dairy products and leave the pies, cakes, cookies, Twinkies, etc alone. Start when you are young...I am almost 60, 6 ft tall, 210 pounds, 36 inch waist, 46 inch chest, bench press 200 pounds. If an old fart like me can do it, so can you.

Yes ..you are eating too much and excess fat is located here...when you sit and compress the area in your positions, the rolls form....exercise, watch what you eat, eat less and you'll see a difference......good luck!!!
