Phish is fine. Also, Martin, as in guitar. That is the name I came up with. Martin. Marty. Martie. Also, a quick spin-off: Maxfield. Max, for short, Maxie. Etc. You will probably think of a much better name yourself after you read all of these other suggestions! But not something like Orville or Cucumber or Burton or Dodger. No. Wouldn't do. What name are you thinking of right now? It changes, doesn't it? Right now, Tux. Tex. Tip. Tippy. But not Bal (as in Bal Moral, the castle, and my spelling may be off). Take good care now, and good luck in taking your time with this one and finding a really great name for your new friend! Sent with best wishes to you from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old.)

that's because you've been on acid for 2 years straight. name your dog James Woods. or Steve. Phish is a totally descent band, but a really crappy name for a dog.

A description and gender would help but how about:
Hootie
Dilbert
Hal
Jack
Harry
Phoebe
Deedee
Holly
Lucky
...go to a baby name site or get a baby name book and look some up.
Good luck and Goddess Bless!

How about BEAR, SAM, Tucker, Ascot, Molly, Abby, Harley, Halley,.....you don't give a discription....or else observe it's character for a few days and see what it does or acts like...name him/her that activity or action.

Your name is that of a Greek hero. Why not name him/her after a Greek hero(ine) or god(dess)? Zeus or Athena, for example.
