I'm very attracted to girls at this point and I haven't had a date yet but if I get one I'm worried I'll be to let's just say "pumped up" and could do something I'd regret or would seriously hurt someone. Should not date, what should I do? No i'm not on meds or a purve or anything like that I'm just raging for physical contact from the opposite sex

I think you should start dating because the more you date, the more experience you'll get. Plus, you'll get used to dating and mature.
You'll never know if you don't try it.

I like china doll's answer. "grow up" and be responsible for your actions and be nice, kind and considerate. Get to know the girl you are with... not how to have her in your bed the fastest way possible. If you act horny, then she and the other girls you date will start spreading the word that you are someone NOT to date and then you will be in real trouble of hurt! All boys your age and going thru the same thing.. but the ones with REAL girlfriends rather than endless one night stands are the ones with manners. Be nice and I'll eat my words if you don't end up with more than you can handle.. as far as potential g/fs go.

I think you need to step back and not take yourself so seriously. Just get out there, socialize, get to know people, and if it happens, it happens. Don't get yourself all worked up over this. It's all perfectly natural. Remember, "don't worry, be happy".
