I am working tomorrow. I will be American tonight. If I don't get 8 hours sleep before I work, I manage pretty well just pacing myself.

Not working tomorrow, but will be active around the house. You don't have to get exsactly 8 hours of sleep, what is more important is to get regular sleep (same time every day). Take a lunch and or nap (with an alarm of course). This will also help.

I usually only sleep about 4 hours. Thats why Im sat here wide awake at quarter past midnight.
Yep, got a nine hour shift tomorrow, examining peoples spots, scabs, rashes, chesty coughs, lumps and bleeding body parts, and listening to all their problems and worries.

Unfortunately I am. Have to get up at 5am as my shift starts at 6am. I often get by with 4/5 hours sleep a night.

I am working (thanx for the reminder not) and I'll only get about 4 hours sleep which means I'll just do the normal thing and go around half asleep.

Working or not, very few people get a full eight hours sleep nowadays. It is sad but inevitable in the modern world.

Yes, and I don't want to go.
Did you know that blood pressures are highest on Mondays, and there are 20% more heart attacks on Mondays than any other day of the week.
We need more bank holidays in this country!
