first start to date. I feel like dating is all about playing games and playing hard to get. I'm so afraid to let my guard down with men because I think they're going to screw me over. I'm sure men go through this with women too. What happened to just complete honesty and no games?

I think we all play games in some form or another, but even when you find someone and get married, some men and women never change. If you have been dating someone who seems to be playing head games with you, maybe you should try to figure out their motive behind them (such as just wanting sex, or someone to work while they do nothing) Believe me I have been in those situations and find myself now in a marriage where every time we fight, he says he wishes we had never gotten married. Now I question his motives. I wish I had taken a longer look before I married him.

I totally agree with you. When you first start dating a guy, he may act nice and be what you want him to be. As soon as he gets comfortable with you then his true colors come out. And by then its too late to turn back because you already love them. I wish guys could trust us women enough to be honest from the very start. I get sick of the games and the lies.

Good luck. It's all hard. Just find the right person. Unfortunately you won't always know who that is even if you find them.
