I would be upset, depending on the circumstances surrounding why that person forgot. If it was just an "oops" moment, i would be very upset, but ultimately forgive them because we are all only humans and in the busy lives that we lead today, things are much easier to forget...........i would forgive as long as it didn't happen all the time (like forgetting BD, anniversary, etc many times)

YES!!!! I'd rather accept other people forget my birthday! But family?! That's gonna hurt a lot!
And when I make them remember, I'm gonna make them pay by telling them to ask me what I want for my birthday and making sure they get me what I want!

Yes matter fact my bday was aug 21st and my BIRTH father (didnt raise me but met him years after I was adopted) .... didnt bother to tell me happy bday...he forgot it and ignored it when I brought the topic up after my bday passed.....and hes suppose to be a church man go figure!

not really, more shocked then laugh it off. My TWIN forgot my birthday last year, i bought her a lot of stuff and she just said "opps"
