Just curious here, those people trained in Tae Kwon Do, how do you block when sparring? Do you do low block leading hand with the back hand guarding the face? Both guarding the face/ upper section? What about the one that looks like a cobra with the lead hand guarding the ribs fingers pointing out with the other guarding the solar plexus?

Just for those of you curious I do a variation of the last one. My leading hand (right for me, I'm a southpaw) bent most of the way at the elbow, knuckles facing the opponent ("cobra" style has them the other way) so it guards my right ribs and the fist near the face. Other hand has the fist hovering over the solar plexus (very similar to knife hand guarding block but closed fist) It does leave a hole for a quick and accurate side kick if i'm not loose enough to move the guard but it covers a wide range without a lot of movement and I've got my leading hand close for a sharp strike.

How do you guys block?
