Isaiah was addressing the Jews and says that their good works are like dirty rags.
Their righteousness was like that, not their personhood.

I would guess that anyone can be, in your words - a "dirty rag," regardless of their religious beliefs. Beliefs are one thing, and putting them into practice is quite another. Some people (and I know some!) think that they are "better" than others, simply because the others do not share in their religious beliefs. Feeling that you are "better" than someone else simply due to their religion might make someone think of that person as a "dirty rag"!!

I wouldn't care if I was...as long as I know that God in heaven and Jesus loves me...and that I will have life eternal some day ...I don't care if I am a dirty rag...you can call me a dirty rag all you want...you may need one some day ....

No, the Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags, Is. 64:6, that's why it takes the righteousness of Jesus before we can get to Heaven.
