You are confused because you don't know that the Almighty God is The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Son is Jesus, and if you started to read the Bible, Genesis speaks of the Word was with God and Word was God, The Word is Jesus.

I thought you said you study religion? Keep studying if you don't know this answer. Jesus is God's son, God is the Father, creator. Jesus is the word, when God was creating the earth He spoke (Jesus- because He is the word) it goes like this. Try to keep up. In the beginning was the Word(Jesus), and the Word (Jesus) was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was God. They are one. Man cannot fully comprehend the things of God. We are but human, we cannot fathom the mind of God.

Look, Jesus is not God, he is OF God, in that he is the son of God. He is of God's essence. Think of it like this, if a little boy or girl fell from a tree or something and broke his/her leg, wouldnt the father ofthat child trade places with his son or daughter in a heartbeat so he could take the pain instead of his child? Thats what Jesus did, Original Sin is our broken leg, our seperation from God himself, Jesus traded places with us and took our pain, get it?

God, the Father, and the holy spirit are of a Trinity and Jesus is part of him just like Eve was a part of Adam. God took Adam's rib to make Eve. God gave his part to Mary (a virgin) and she gave birth to Jesus. In Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John it tells you how Jesus came to be.

The pagan belief of a "Trinity" is what confuses most people, including many that like to call themselves Christians. Jesus is God's son and is in subjection to his father.

sorry but god is god the father and jesus is the son of god and i god did not pay for ours sins his son did.i am not sure where it is in the bible but it says jesus was sent to earth to pay for our sins

jesus isn't god he is god's son sent to earth ro die for our sins. go back and reread john 3:16 and the first few book of the new testament

It its torturing you that much, why not spend a Sunday talking to a pastor instead of looking for Truth on Yahoo? I know you probably don't realize this, but Pastors are trained , people on Yahoo are just poor confused spiritually ignoratant people, like you. They have no answers for you.
