I am not a bad speller these days but I used to spell 'probably' as 'probally'. I would say words like 'receive' and 'deceive' are ones that fool a lot of people. Then there are spellings for UK and spellings for USA. Like hypnotise/hypnotize.

Most of the english language is hard for Australians to spell. Even the media gets it wrong.

English is my second language, so some words that are simple sometimes are hard to spell for me. i can never get the hang of jewelerry, or someting like that :)

I can't believe the amount of people who have trouble with the word 90!! I really want to scream when I see it written as "ninty"......
My own personal 'thickie' is independant and independent - I never can remember which is for what!

to me? a lot of words i am terrible at spelling, but if u havent noticed, it doesnt rully matter on the innernet; but in real life, yes it can be frusterating (i think i spelled that wrong...) but i usually scrwe up on anything with ei or is it ie? whatever...

i can't spell this word myself andi dont know anybody who can spell the word supena. It actualy starts sub...... When you are supenard to attend court. Its soooo hard. I would like to see it spelt correctly....

Forty (many people still write "fourty") = 40
Also the grammatically correct uses of "your" and "you're",
as well as "it's" as opposed to "its" seem to crop up all over the place.
