Ok, we communicate real well and today I was supposed to go in to town with my mother to meet someone to buy a phone. Well that is what i thought i was doing then my lil brother, lil sister, and her friend (three years younger and definitely not any kind of threat!) decided to go along we went and shopped for a lil while instead... On my way back home my girlfriend called me and asked what i was up to and i told her exactly what we were doing. She got mad and hung up because it wasnt what i had told her i was doing to begin with.... does she have a right to be mad at me?

Sounds like she either has an insecurity problem or shes a control freak. Shes overreacting cause theres another girl with you but explain to her that it was your sister's friend and theres nothing to worry about. If shes still mad lose her cause the next time she gets mad itll be when youre giving the girl at some restaurant your order. Your gf will think youre flirting with her.

she has no right to be mad at you because not always are the plans that you are going to have are going to run exactly the way you thought. You werent doing anything bad and she is acting very immature.

She's PROBABLY mad because she was not invited but she feels everyone else was.

But, yes, it is silly for her to be mad about that. Just let her cool off. It will pass. Don't talk about it with her. Let it go (dont tell her to let it go though!!! That really will make her mad!!)

I was just like your girlfriend when I was younger... but I grew out of it as I got older.

Absolutely NOT. You poor guy. Sounds like she is very insecure and not able to trust. I'm not saying to dump her, but you will always have to walk on thin ice. Her behavior is actually conditioning you to lie. You would've been better off saying " I'm on the way home with my mom"

No she does not have that right.
You were with your mother and she changed the game plan on you.
So tell the little control freak to grow up and deal with it or take a hike.

you should have called her and told her the change of plans. put yourself in her shoes for a second.... if she did exactly what you diod you KNOW yopu would be mad. dont try saying you wouldnt.

go see her... take some flowers "her fav kind" and a cute stuffed animal with a sorry card and tell her you are sorry for making her upset.
