my ex boyfriend from last year just started going out with my best friend. he is hugging me and calling me pretty and writing me notes and stuff. it is VERY clear that he likes me alot...what to do?

Tell the jerk to back off. Obviously he gets a kick out of how many girls are in to him. Come on! If he liked and wanted you, what is he doing with your best friend. He loves this. Next time he hugs you, be standoffish, next time he gives you a note, give it back! Grow up and take control of your life, don't let this guy make you look like an idiot. You're better than that. Why would you want a guy that can't commit or has made it clear he doesn't want you, he only wants you to keep wanting him because he makes his ego feel sooooooo good.

Tell him to leave you alone, especially since he is going out with your best friend. Becareful when you tell your best friend about this, because she might just think you are jealous or something, but I do think you should tell her. Maybe approach her very gently and show her the notes he's been writing you, and tell her that you dont want to hurt her feelings, but this guy is no good. Good luck!

I would tell him he is an ex for a reason and you are not one to cheat. If he is dating someone else and he wants to date someone different, like you again and you want to also, then he needs to end it with your best friend first....
Just remember the reason you are no longer together.

hes your ex, and hes doing this and its clear that he likes you, well i would think so he went out with you didnt he, it could be that hes just dating your friend to try toget back with you

Talk to him about commitment. Certainly keep your friend, but if he doesn't break up with her when he is still doing this to you, you may have to confront your friend. She shouldn't get mad at you; it isn't your fault.

Stay away from him. It is not worth hurting your friend. And most likely if you two get toether he'll be cheating on YOU. "If he'll cheat with you, he'll cheat on you."
