Okay My mom just quit smoking (she has been doing it since she was in High School and she is almost 39 she will be next January) She has us 3 kids a job and is starting her clinicals Tuesday and she has a clod. Is that normal? She also has a zit and it really achey. She is not getting her period. I want to know Cuz I want her to be okay.

She should be okay, but to be on the safe side she ought to see a Dr. I have had friends try to quit smoking only to end up with a cold. The problem is her resistance is down and an antibiotic will only make it worse. As long as she just has a cold I wouldn't take the antibiotic they may want to prescribe. As long as it is nothing to worry about. See a Dr. but don't worry, sometimes stress can make you have a sit! Good luck!

Be the one that helps keep an eye on her if things get worse then ask her to see her doctor good luck.

She should get a physical right away or at least a trip to the gyno.

yes very normal...her body is going through a big change and she will be ok....just support and know that this is a very hard thing to do! Good on her!
