The immigration system is more than messed up, so much so, it's not a viable system any more, it just doesn't work. Yes I am worried about it. These days it seems Britain is losing it's identity as the British isles. Maybe we should call it Europa or something. Thanks to Blair's 'soft touch' and the channel tunnel, there are now more immigrants, ( illegal or otherwise), in this country than we can cope with. There's just no more room and we cannot and should not accept anymore in!

There are a lot of questions like yours on Yahoo and, to do them justice, require quite long and considered responses. I have just answered two, so I am a little worn down.

I think that most of the population are concerned, but have no outlet for these concerns The leftwing TV media won't entertain dissenting voices, because they approve of, and are promoting the governments agenda, by helping to indoctrinate the population.

The government is complying with EU policy on immigration, so that the apparent shambles in the Home Office, is deliberate. They have removed the borders from around Britain, that is why they have started to use the word migration instead of immigration. It will eventually lead to the extinction of Britain as an independant country by forcing us into a Federalist Europe. The real insult is, that we haven't been asked, we have been presented with a 'fait accompli', and told to get on with it.

Why don't you look up some of the other answers to similar questions?

I have just checked other responses and, candi k is a prime example of indoctrination (it is she that should leave) together with 'snarleye' and paul1953uk. They all sound as though they have been got at by leftwing lecturers.

The immigration system is in a mess. In America and Austrailia they have a thorough requirement for migration. As a British national I had to go through skilled migration to apply for Austrailia. I wish the same was in place for this country. The biggest problem has been the EC which works for this country for big businesses but has imposed unrealistic numbers on this country. For the EU anyone from Europe can come and stay in the work if they find work and it doesnt matter whether most of it is for low paid and unskilled labour which can contribute to the Black Market. .

I totally agree. A lot of builder friends I know are struggling to find work, due to the polish being cheap and willing to work longer hours.

I don't agree that they're putting back into the system, as most are working illegally, another reason why they are being contracted, they're working for less than the minimum wage.

Also I'm confused about the headlines on the news last week about over population in the UK. Am I missing something, surely if we stopped so many immigrants entering the country we would slow it down?

Err!! yes, and it's not just Polish, they're from everywhere, no wonder that there are so many Brits having to leave this country, because there's no room left, (or is it that the country has been ruined).
It should no longer be called 'Britain', just 'Multy race, multy cultural land'.
British culture is hanging on by the skin of it's teeth.
Just check how many true Brits still live here, and how many ex-pats there are!
I don't blame the people that immigrate to this country. I blame the stupid government, that didn't think ahead, and allowed this situation to happen.
the immigration laws/rules have now changed, but isn't that a bit like 'closing the barn door, after the horses have bolted'???

What immigration system? UK now has open boarders.

I would be more worried that you have missed the boat where building is concerned in the UK. We are running out of land to build on and when the bubble bursts and the itinerant labour force moves onto another country, housing will be ten a penny and no one will need builders!

Stay at college and think carefully about using your vote to save your future!

Its all the governments fault. They didn't practice there Accession rights. The other EU countries put there accession rights into practice. For example, if a polish person wanted to work in France, they are not allowed to, even though they are EU, because when a country joins the EU, they have the right to put restrictions for upto 7 years. Bur Blair decided NO. And NO means NO. I don't call this democracy. He didn't ask the British people what they want.

Maybe you could apply for a job in Poland there must be a shortage over there and the rates should rise.
Only joking but it is a sorry state of affairs when you cannot get a job that you have trained for because of immigrant labour.
