There have been so many divorces and re-marriages in my family, I don't thnk I even have any blood related cousins anymore. Even step-sisters should be ok right? What about aunts (dad's brothers' ex-wives) that are now divorced and don't visit the reunions anymore? What is considered "off-limits"?

If you are not related by blood then they are not off limit. Usually it is prohibited by the law to marry a first cousin. First cousin is a person 50% related by blood. It is same blood relation like your relation with mother, father and siblings of parents. So good luck for you.

since gas is about $3.00 a gallon why not use your head and save some money stay home and date your mom or sister instead of going to a family reunion "HOW SICK" yes it is wrong to go to a family reunion for a date!

it is all called off limits if it is family. go to a club or church if you wanna look for a date or even the mall or ask a friend if they know of anyone because even if they are step , distant , or wichever it is very wrong to look for a date a family reunion.

Yes, unless you're hitting on a cousin's friend. However, since you don't see each other and hardly know each other, it's hard to not mistakly hit on a blood relative. Best advice is to keep away, or if you're into that kind of thing, then ask how you're related, by marraige, or by blood.

Okay, that's just wrong. You should never look for a date anyplace with the word "Family" in it! There are million other places you can look...why a family reunion?
