Same thing happened to me. I liked this dude and then my friend told him without my permission. Then he had a girlfriend and then broke up with her and he was checking me out... but I never talked to him because I thought he wouldn't like me. See, he'd sit and just stare at me and stare everyday... I was scared to talk to him because I thought he thought I was ugly. But all my friends told me to go for it and I never did. Why? Because I had no self confidence. If he's checking you out and he's available then go for it, okay? You never know until you try!

Tell you what. Let's pretend you're going to school to learn a few things, like a bit of spelling and maybe a dash of grammar. And then let's pretend that you have a life of your own. If you're going to sit around in school all year waiting for someone to break up so you can try to grab the guy, you might be waiting for a l o o o o o o o o n g time. So try doing something a little more constructive. Okay?

Let the guy ask you out. That is the way it works, sorry. If they are not calling you and asking you out, even in a shy way... Then he is not interested. Move on. Find someone who will bend over backwards to be with you! You deserve it.
