Depends, If its a night out then you've got to start with pints in the local so everyone can meet up, also if you go on a bar crawl then beer is better as you stay in each bar for about 30 mins (2 drinks worth) everything else just goes down too fast. Vodka and Tequila are best for near the end of a night as you dont have to carry them round the club spilling them. As for wine with food (except curry then thats beer) every time.

Vodka is best. Less chance of a hangover the next day and you can mix almost anything with it. Just remember sweet mixes are what gives you the pounder next day. Too much beer will make you throw up, followed by wine. Tequila is good but most people can only take so much. Also, it is the most expensive of the four.

Beer works best for lasting the longest, the quickest way to get sick is tequila shots, wine for guzzling isnt a good idea, and vodka can mix with many other things. Wine will give you a bad headache next day, as will the other liquors. Remember to drink responsibly and think about a designated driver if necessary.
