No, you need to use a surveillance camera, and have it up link to the web.
A satellite, your own personal one, will be a biatch to afford, costing you several billion dollars, and then there's the logistical nightmare of getting it into a Geo-static orbit in the Clark-Belt, some 22,800 miles above the Earth. Why you'd probably have to sell the farm to buy it, I'm guessing.

In the Yellow Pages, ask a security company who do CCTV if they have a web-monitored system. One of them certainly will.

regardless of what you do you would still need a camera! As someone else stated, you can pay to have someone launch a satellite for a few million excluding the satellite, another few million for the satellite, a mill for the control system for the sat, and finally, a cheap camera!

There are a couple of systems that will work. But out of experience talking, they cost a fortune! There is one which is affordable and works by a special prepared cellphone... I only know a dutch site that offers those detectnu.nl they might have it in english to i suddenly realise.... But otherwise try google or yahoo, keywords wireless satelite monitoring... good luck

How many billions do you have to spend? Sattelites aren't cheap you know.

Now you can do it much, much cheaper....

What you need is a setup that transmits video via the internet. You need to get some webcams and software to allow you to monitor them. Where you at (nearest town, state)? I can have someone come out, but it will cost ya!
