I was 21 years old, literally on the other side of the World and after three previous Countries and seven months already spent in Australia I found myself on the Sunshine Coast staying in a hippy commune. Now, it was not so much a moment of beauty caused by Mother Earth, but it was a reflection on life.

I was sitting with half a dozen other like minded people around a beautiful campfire in the middle of a rain forest on the River Noosa. No one was talking, people were all just looking around and smiling at one another...

This is when I thought to myself, 'Wow, this is real! I am on the other side of the World without a care in the World. These people I am with are total strangers, but even so we are sitting here enjoying the utter silence of the rain forest in harmony.'

It is like time was standing still for all those minutes. Like something out of a movie. My soul was at complete peace for those minutes and I savour every thought of that night and will always look back to it in times of stress or need!
