How would i approach an interesting, beautiful, and intelligent girl to ask her out. I have a serious lack of eloquence when it comes to these kinds of things.

Intelligence is the key word my friend. I would definitely approach her like you have some sense. The best approach is the direct approach, but convey a strong sense of yourself and confidence.

Listen, i don't want to seem presumtious but I think you're really amazing, i'd love if you let me take you out sometime..
if she says okay..ask her when she's free
if she says she can't... then keep trying with another girl... just be polite and be open and remember you have nothing to lose but time

Depends where you meet her. If it is in a casual spot and she is reading, then ask her about it and relate it to your interests somehow. Invite her to something. Don't be sly and suave, be honest, easy going, have good manners, be respectful, perhaps make her laugh, be thoughtful. Any one of those will help.

You'd walk up to me and say, "Hi, Applebetty, Would you like to go out with me for a drink sometime?" I'll probaby say yes, except for my husband. For some reason, he doesn't like me to date other men. Good Luck! Just ask her out for a drink!

Don't focus on her looks when making your move... that'll only trip you up. Just listen to her and talk... if you have a good conversation, maybe there's something there.
