I'm 23 y.o. and recently I've found out that the man that I'm interested in shares the same feelings for (about?) me. The problem is that he is 13 years older, he is very ambitious, has a demending job and travels often, and I am just a student... so I'm not sure if i should enter into this relationship...I can't even imagine what would it be like. Did anyone have any similar experience? What would you advise to me?

I am 10 years older than my wife and we started dating when she was 24. It was the same for us. We always were off and on and didn't know where it was going. We finally decided to give it a total go about 4 years ago and we got married. Things are great!

I too had a business and was very ambitious. I've learned how to tone it down though and relax and things are great. Talk to him though about your fears. Good luck!

my best friend is 23, she will be married 1 year on the 10th (of sept) and her husband is 12 years older. And their daughter is 4 months old. And they just bought a house.

you will know if he's the right one.. and if he is.. then throw the age issue aside... just make sure to accomplish everything you want including school.

I say go for it, but make sure he's into you for the right reasons... or the wrong ones if that what you're looking for as well. I don't see anything wrong with dating an older man, as long as you get along, there's nothing to worry about.

Good Luck

If you have to ask, l think you already know the answer. Age may not be the factor, more his demanding work. You are young, so my advice is keep having fun and dont stress over this guy.

Myself I say if you love him and he feels the same about you. If he stays in touch with you and is honest. go for it! Age should not be an issue
