Lowfat or skim milk 3 to 4 servings a day actually help you lose weight. 2% milkfat or less. You must eat by portion and exercise. No other restrictions are necessary. Use your food pyramid you began learning in 1st grade. Not only is cottage cheese good for you, it is good too. Try to get 2% milkfat ultra pasturized and I think it tastes like dessert if you get it cold to 33-34 degrees.

You will be let down if you go on a cottage cheese *diet*. Diets are just plain bad, healthy eating is best. Cottage cheese is a great resource for calcium. I love breakstone's the best. 4% fat, too! lol. I eat it with canned sliced peaches... better than ice creme to me.

Cottage cheese is a great source of calcium, vitamins, and if you're worried about fat, get the lower percentage, watch your portions, and don't dump sugar and fruit on it.

Well, really?? The one that loses the most fat for people is the all carbohydrate diet. But, they probably don't eat it a lot, and if they do eat cottage cheese a lot, its probably the skim milk kind.

I dont believe these diets are very healthy. You need balance and personally I do not think that dairy is all that healthy for an individual anyway. You can get calcium in so many other more nutritious places, such as vegetables. I would stick to eating vegetables, some fruits and lean protiens if I were you.

COTTAGE CHEESE IS ONE OF THE BEST PROTEINS THAT YOU CAN FEED YOUR BODY. YOU WILL NEED TO MIX IT WITH SOMETHING BECAUSE IT HAS A VERY BLAND TASTE. I LIKE TO MIX IT WITH PEACHES OR PINEAPPLE OR PUT IT ON A BAKED POTATO WITH SOME SALSA. MMMMMMM
