A churro is a fried-dough pastry-based snack, which originated in Spain, and is popular in Latin America, the USA, and Spanish-speaking Caribbean islands. It is sometimes referred to as a Spanish doughnut or Mexican doughnut.

Churrito is a triangular tortilla chip. After it has been deep-fried, sprinkle it with lots of sugar and cinnamon. This would be similar to the Churros sold at theme parks, parades and other similar events.

If something ends in " ito " or " ita " it usually means little. So there would be a churro and a churrito. I used to have spanish classes long time ago and i still remember only some stuff i learned. My mother learned french

Yeah, any Spanish word with an ito or ita on the end means "little" whatever the base word is.

(i.e. gato for cat , gatito for kitten)

so it'd be churro and churrito (little churro)

Wordwise that's what it seems like it would be..
But who knows, maybe they are made differently.
