one based on love, respect and trust. Communication is vital as well. There also have to be some common interests... or sense of compromise if not. There also has to be some alone time... not always having to be together to proove that you are a couple. The ability to have fun no matter what you do!!!!

communication. If two people always tell each other what they really think, and are polite about it, there won't be that many problems. Also, trust, honesty, faith, and love.
