I love making homemade ice-blended mocha drinks! It's fun and easy. My recipe is fairly simple: milk, good strong instant coffee, chocolate syrup, ice, and whipped cream topping. Do you have any other variations on making ice-blended coffee drinks at home?

BANANA-MOCHA SHAKE

3 medium ripe bananas
2 cups coffee ice cream
1 cup milk (I use 1% Lactaid)
1/4 cup chocolate syrup

Process all ingredients in a blender 1 minute or until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
Serve immediately.

FROZEN MOCHA ALMOND SHAKE

1/4 cup almond butter
1 cup low-fat milk
1/4 cup strong coffee (I use decaf)
4 teaspoons chocolate syrup
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract (or almond extract)
4 scoops vanilla frozen yogurt (1 cup)

Combine all of the ingredients except for the frozen yogurt in blender; blend until well combined.
Add the frozen yogurt; blend until just combined. Serve at once.

mocha shake

1/2 cup coffee or herbal coffee substitute, already prepared
1/2 cup organic frozen yogurt, low-fat or non-fat
1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
2-4 ice cubes
PREPARATION:
You will need the following equipment:
Blender

Measuring spoon, 1/2 cup size

Travel mug and wide straw if you are taking it to go

This is my quick and easy method for making protein shakes:
Using the measuring spoon, scoop 1/2 cup of yogurt directly from the yogurt container and put it in the blender.

Pour 1/2 cup coffee/coffee substitute--already brewed--into the measuring spoon and empty it into the blender.

Add the chocolate whey protein powder and ice cubes.

Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass or travel mug and serve.

I'm not sure how much sugar u would like to have in it but i have made a shake that i love very much and its pretty easy. i dont know if u have no frills groceries stores where u are that's where i get my stuff. i get a box of Chapmans Strawberrie Banana ice cream its like $2.99 and the PC Presidents Choice 6 Berry Blend in a plastic frozen container cost is $4.99 for 600 grams. if u have time defrost in a dish on the counter with a bit of sugar or sweetener and then put in a blender till its mixed and serve in a nice tall and thick cup with a spoon and its ready to eat. i get about 4 shakes per box of ice cream and at least 5 or 6 uses with the berries.
