1 : if there depressed, sad or feeling loney some drugs can make you feel num and you will forget all your problems [ untill they wear off]
2 : they want to look grown up and big infront of friends or even family who or taking the drug
3 : pressure from friends eg: them saying to you ' your just a little baby scared..if you dont try it'

young people are very curious. they have an immense amount of peer pressure these days. there's alot more depressed teens these days than in past generations, alot more divided family lifes, it also depends on the personally of the teen. are they leaders or followers? if they're followers, they will do anything to fit into the crowd, if they're leaders---hopefully they will handle this position wisely.

drugs are like an escape from reality they give you a personall world where you do not screw up and are not worthless although after you are worse
they are a form of rebelion
i dont condone drugs at all

They are bored and it's something to do.
They are depressed and some drugs make you forget your pain.
Their friends do them.
To stay awake and party or go clubbing.
To lose weight.
To relax.
To rebel against authority.

some do it just to act out!!
