well i only brought a folder and some pencils on the first day. no one expects her to bring everything on the first day. in fact, each teacher should tell her in the first couple of days what she should bring for their class, and she would usually get a week or so to get ready.
tell her not to worry about bringing anything other than some paper and pencils :)

That's a bit much. She can probably get by with one of each on the first day as long as she has a place to write down assignments and notes. She can put them into their proper binders after she finds out how all the stuff id going to be used.

I'd get 2 binders with dividers, and two 3-subject notebooks (you know, the kinds that divide the paper with a piece of cardboard). That should be plenty.

I am sure she will be assigned a locker. Or she could consolidate two classes into one large binder. I never brought everything on the first day of school, too much stuff!

No, wait until the teacher asks for them. Teachers usually pass out a syllabus at the first day which explains everything. Unless, she already has locker, i dont suggest dragging all those supplies to school.

yes you should have everything ready for the first day of school. When they hit middle school I would wait till the second day so you know for sure exactly what you will need for each class.

I would just to be on the safe side because if she needs it then she has it if not then she don't have to worry about bringing it all later!

Yes, she should bring everything in case she needs it. It's better to be safe than sorry.
