Take the poor thing to the vet to get de-fleaed and de-wormed. How would you feel if you had bugs crawling all over you and biting you and worms crawling out of your butt? Not very good, huh?

If the worms are little white rice looking type worms they are tapeworm caused by your cat either eating mice and birds or the more common problem fleas.
Go to your local vet and get a good flea prevention. Frontline is a good one. It is a once a month flea treatment. Your vet may recommend other good ones. You also need to get a pill from your vet to kill the tapeworm. If they are long and white they are roundworms. You should get a good wormer since only a fecal float can determine other internal parsites like hooks and whips which cannot be seen in the stool but could cause diarrhea and bloody stools.

I'm not sure exactly what kind, but they're worms. Parasites, living in his gut. If they're crawling out his anus, that's a bad infestation. Take the cat to the vet. Get Revolution for the fleas, and a deworming medication for the worms. You cat is probably feeling absolutely miserable.

Listen to what Stacy said. Make an appointment with your vet first thing Tuesday to have your cat dewormed & dipped. Your cat will be glad you did. When you are @ the vets office, pick up a can of flea bomb and treat your house so that your cat will not get reinfested. Make sure your cat can stay @ the vets while you bomb the house.
It's great to ask questions about your pet if you don't know the answers. But actions speak louder than words. If you want to be a responsible pet owner, take action. Poor kitty, he must be miserable.

Dude he has a really really bad case of worms!!!! Get him to a vet, that has nothing at all to do with his fleas. Poor cat

well sounds like he not only has fleas he has worms. and if their crawling out his butt. he has them bad. take him to the vet before he dies.

Your cat has eaten a flea, where he then got little butt wormies coming out of his butt. You need to take him to get some medication. AND GET RID OF THE FLEAS!!!
