Is it not that very poor conduct, bad behavior, lies about it, attempts to spin it away and the coverup of it that leads a nation or it's military to wage wars less and less effectively and justly in such a way that makes wars drag out longer, victories much more difficult or impossible to achieve or even define and futher encouraging even worse behavior sliding ever further down a slipperly slope? Does it lead the nation, it's leaders, it's military and it's people to self delusion? Is truely always trying to honestly and justly conduct ourselves in all our endevors instead of just trying to appear that way what keeps us honest, just, grounded, and good?

doesn't supporting your nation mean trying to make sure it's doing the right thing and realizing that it isn't always going to do it without the effort by it's people to make sure it does?

With all due respect to your opinion, the question wasn't aimmed at any particular party or had any intention to overthrow the government whatsoever, I'd just like washington to clean up it's act a bit.
I think better enforcement of ethics laws we already have, trying to avoid future mistakes, fully respecting our rights and liberties and the main stream media putting a more critical and thoughtfull eye towards where we go from here will help the war be fought more effectivly, justly, ethically and will help in winning it more quickly and help make more allies and less enemies.
