I think it's popular for kids of all ages. For older kids, it brings back nostalgia. For younger kids, it's a cool accessory to have in their room or dorm. Thinking of buying one? Have fun and enjoy!

i lost taste for them as i got older... so id say they are more for young children, to keep them entertained...
